Melaney Gorman

Experience

Melaney Gorman is an architect specializing in the design, development, fabrication, and construction of facade systems. Her work has particular emphasis on prefabricated curtain walls, architectural precast concrete, and glass fiber reinforced concrete (GFRC) facades. She possesses expertise as a building enclosure consultant and peer reviewer on a range of building project types, including commercial, multifamily residential/condo, institutional, and healthcare. She is a collaborative and detail-oriented team member excited by finding solutions to unique facade system challenges.

Prior to WJE, Ms. Gorman was a facade consultant working with architectural design teams to develop facade system details and specifications. She is experienced as a design team representative during design-assist, fabrication plant inspection, performance mock-up testing, construction administration, and field-testing phases.
