Experience

Gary Wentzel has extensive experience investigating and repairing masonry systems in contemporary and historic buildings. He specializes in distressed brick, stone, and concrete masonry cladding as well as water leakage through mass and cavity wall systems.

Mr. Wentzel has successfully completed numerous investigations and repairs of deteriorated terrazzo flooring and of concrete deterioration caused by expansive gypsum-containing grouts. He has performed architectural and structural investigations involving structural steel, cast-in-place concrete, precast concrete, cast stone, dimension stone, terra cotta, resilient flooring, glazed curtain walls and windows, membrane waterproofing and roofing, metal roofing, architectural metal, flashings, and weather-resistive barriers.

Mr. Wentzel has expertise in managing all phases of investigation, repair design, and construction and leverages this breadth of experience to provide litigation support as an expert witness for construction-related claims.
